The Osprey Returns

After Elane and I left and proceeded back down the trail, we heard a loud splash! I said, "Oh my God! He just dive bombed the lake for a fish!" Elane concurred. We watched him flap his magnificent wings, rise out of the water then circle the air two times. Down he went in the middle of the lake! He powered his way out of the water and we watched him alight on the same branch with a fish in his talons. What an amazing experience we shared that day.
